NURTURING DADS NETWORK

A Support Group for Fathers

Being a dad in 2025 isn’t easy. Let’s help each other.

Why does fatherhood sometimes feel so challenging?

  • We are trailblazers. Our generation of dads is more involved in raising our kids than our fathers and grandfathers were. We strive to be compassionate, involved, sensitive dads, but we don’t have a roadmap or mentors to show us how to accomplish this vision.

  • We lack connection. We are isolated. We do not have spaces where we can speak openly and honestly about our struggles or learn from people who are going through similar challenges.

  • We have many responsibilities. Many of us live in small family units without a sense of being supported by our “village.” As a result, the duties of earning income, childrearing, home upkeep, and countless others fall on the shoulders of a limited number of adults in each home. Constantly adapting to modern stresses such as political, social, economic and ecologic upheaval, combined with rapidly changing technology and the frequent blurring of work/life boundaries - this all adds to our already full plates.

Nurturing Dads Network is a way to address these challenges. We come together to experience community, share our struggles, learn from one another, and be in solidarity with a supportive group of people looking to connect and evolve. Together, we can navigate the challenges of fatherhood not in isolation but as a team who has each other’s backs.

Come join our online peer support group for dads as we help each other on our journeys to become the best fathers we can be.

Co-facilitated by Aaron Kagan and Gabriel Reif, with a combined 12+ years leading workshops and dads’ support groups, plus extensive experience in the fields of education and coaching.
